Volunteer action – Bake a cake while volunteering! Edition 2 – Children’s Day 2025

🎁 Thank you very much for your interest in the Bake a Cake for Volunteers campaign

Baking together is not only a way to have a good time, but also a real help to people in difficult life situations. We invite you to take part in the second unique campaign, in which everyone can help in a simple and enjoyable way – by baking a cake or pastries! Your home-made cakes will become a help and an attraction during the Great Children’s Party, which we are organizing at the Food Bank’s branch in Siedlce, in the town of Mentne, about 100 km from Warsaw. They will sweeten the everyday life of children and add a little joy to their lives on this special day!

The campaign is for everyone – families, students, employees, pensioners and anyone who wants to do something for others. All you need to do is

  • bake at least one cake or one tray of cupcakes/cookies at home,
  • deliver them on 30.05 in the evening or 31.05 in the morning to Kwitnąca 14 (Warsaw – Białany),
  • along with each cake deliver to us 2 packs of disposable plates/trays and 1 pack of plastic breakfast bags (so that we can cut and distribute the cake on the spot).

Donate them to us and we will pass them on to where they will really make a difference!

Join us and do good - step by step! 🧁💛

Requirements for baked goods:

To ensure that the baked goods reach vulnerable people safely, please follow a few important rules:

  • Cakes should be environmentally friendly – please bake without creams, mashed potatoes, cream, raw eggs. Cupcakes, muffins, yogurt cakes, etc. are ideal.
  • No additives that require refrigeration – baked goods should be suitable for storage at room temperature.
  • Hygienically packaged – please deliver cakes in clean containers or wrapped in cling film. Each cake should have a label with the name and composition (for example, the composition of an apple pie: wheat flour, apples, eggs, sugar, butter, baking powder, cinnamon, salt).
  • The pies should be homemade, but always hygienic.

Everyone who bakes and delivers a cake as part of the campaign will receive:

🍰 Certificate of participation

📜 Volunteer certificate.

Baking one cake is a real support, for which we count 2 hours of volunteering 😉.

If you don’t know what kind of cake to make, we invite you to get inspired, for example, on the aniagotuje.pl website:
