Want to help our beneficiaries get the information they need?
As a telephone volunteer(s), you are the first contact for people who call with very specific questions: will there be food today? can you use secondhand? do you need clothes? Often these are people in difficult life situations who are looking for help and information – how to register, where to come, what to bring. Your task will be to calmly, kindly and clearly provide answers, give the most important information and – equally important – give the feeling that on the other side of the phone is someone who really wants to help. And above all – someone who will answer the phone! ♥️
Knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian required.
Who are we inviting?
🧒 Youth from 16 years of age (with parental consent)
🧑 All adults – regardless of age or background fluent in at least Ukrainian and/or Russian.
Your tasks:
📞 answering phone calls from those in need (usually in Ukrainian or Russian),
🍽️ informing about the availability of food support and hours of delivery,
📝 explaining the rules of registration and support,
📅 providing organizational information (addresses, hours, deadlines),
❤️ building an atmosphere of calm, understanding and trust.
Is this something for you?
