
A new stage of food aid support for those in need is beginning: the European Funds for Food Aid Programme 2021–2027, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus, is scheduled to run from February to September 2025.
Kwitnący Dom, as a branch of the Inna Przestrzeń Foundation, in cooperation with the SOS Food Bank in Warsaw, supports people in need from the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, within the Warsaw Metropolitan Area—including both foreign nationals and Polish citizens.
The goal of the programme is to provide food assistance to the most vulnerable individuals and to offer accompanying measures that support their social inclusion.
RECIPIENTS OF FOOD AID AND ACCOMPANYING MEASURES
Food aid is available to individuals and families who are in a difficult life situation and meet the following criteria:
The conditions specified in Article 7 of the Social Assistance Act of March 12, 2004 (Journal of Laws of 2024, items 1283 and 1572)
The income threshold, which is 2,676.50 PLN for a person living alone and 2,180.95 PLN per person in a family.
Social assistance is provided to individuals and families, particularly due to the following reasons:
Poverty
Orphanhood
Homelessness
Unemployment
Disability
Long-term or serious illness
Domestic violence
7a) The need to protect victims of human traffickingThe need to protect motherhood or large families
Helplessness in matters of caregiving and household management, especially in single-parent or large families
(repealed)
Difficulties in the integration of foreigners who have been granted refugee status, subsidiary protection, or temporary residence permits due to circumstances outlined in Article 159 of the Act on Foreigners from December 12, 2013, regarding the requirement for granting a temporary residence permit for family reunification
Difficulties in adapting to life after release from prison
Alcoholism or drug addiction
An unforeseen event or crisis situation
A natural or ecological disaster

Food Aid
As part of the programme, each person referred for food aid can receive FREE OF CHARGE a minimum of approximately 30 kg of food products in the form of several food parcels:

Accompanying Measures
Additionally, Kwitnący Dom, in cooperation with the Food Bank, will implement the following planned accompanying activities for those in need, supporting their social inclusion:
Thematic educational cycles: economic education, nutrition and diet, culinary, consumer rights.
Educational workshops on: food waste reduction, proper waste segregation, culinary skills, psychodietetics, household budget management.
Inclusion and integration activities (cycles).
Consultation shifts.
