Christmas trees full of dreams

‘Christmas Trees Full of Dreams’ is a unique project that gives companies, institutions, schools and other local communities the opportunity to get involved in more than just day-to-day activities – it’s a chance to really help children who are often beyond the reach of standard charity events. Because how do we explain to them that Santa forgot about them, even though they were good?

On the Christmas trees in your company, school or institution will hang handmade baubles on which we have placed the dreams of the children in our care.

Are you not from Warsaw? Not from Poland?

No problem at all. You can organise the action at your place, we will deliver the baubles to you and carry out the whole action remotely. The choice is yours – do you collect the money to buy the presents and transfer them to us at least 2 weeks before the end of the campaign, or do you do the full version, collect the pre-wrapped presents and send them to us? Here it is only up to you – whether you collect money to buy a gift and transfer it to us at least 2 weeks before the end of the action or you act in full version, collect previously wrapped gifts and send them to us by courier (the cost of shipping even a pallet is much lower than the cost of organizing many other actions, so do not be afraid – we will help you to organize it) 🙂

However, if you are not from Poland, it is with a pain in the heart that we recommend raising funds, as the courier delivery in the run-up to Christmas can get stuck along the way. We promise to buy the most wonderful articles and send you a report about it 🙂

How will it all work?

Each bauble is one child’s dream – a request for a gift that is very important to them. Why so important? Because it is a child who has no hope of presents under the Christmas tree.

Employees of your company, parents at school or people connected with the institution can choose a bauble that speaks to their heart, matches their financial possibilities and interests and thus commit to making that dream come true. They then bring the wrapped gift by the deadline.

Each bauble is different, but the value of the gifts is a maximum of £100. At the same time, we also ensure that baubles with symbolic gifts, sets of sweets etc. appear on each Christmas tree, so that everyone can get involved regardless of their financial means.

As a reminder, you can hang a bauble on your home Christmas tree to remind you that this year’s festivities are not only about caring for your loved ones, but also about making a small gesture towards making the world a slightly better place.

Who do we support?

We help children who are often overlooked in other charitable actions: children under the care of family assistants in Social Assistance Centres, children in closed centres for foreigners, as well as our regular charges. These children also have dreams, but usually they do not come true. In order to register children for this campaign, we contact Social Welfare Centres throughout the Warsaw Agglomeration and foundations caring for children in the centres.

But at the end of the day, it is you who can make their Christmas full of joy and hope.
